SUMMER DANCE SCHOOL JULY 2008
We would like to invite all of our Intermediate and Advanced dancers to participate in our summer school the week of July 20 – 24, 2008.
This past year our dancers have committed their time to their dance classes. As a result, we have seen many of our dancers develop their technique and increase their strength and flexibility. We would like to continue to offer our dancers classes in July in order to maintain all of their hard work throughout the year and have them ready for their fall dance classes.
We have an exciting summer school program and we truly hope your dancer can join us for all the fun!
Instructor
Miss Lisa Wickwire grew up dancing in Calgary before pursuing her love of dance around the world. She is a graduate from the prestigious Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in Toronto and has performed in countless musicals and plays, including the lead role in West Side Story. Miss Lisa has travelled throughout Europe and the Caribbean as a dancer on Costa Cruise Ships and as a member of the Natural Rythms Ballet Company in Cancun, Mexico. A career highlight was dancing with the late Tap Master, Gregory Hines. Miss Lisa is very excited to share her love of dance with the dancers at Counterpoint!

MINI DIVAS (5-9 years)
• 9:30 – 10:15 Jazz
• 10:15 – 10:45 Tap
• 10:45 – 11:00 Juice/Snack Break
• 11:00 – 11:30 Ballet
• 11:30 – 12:15 Musical Theatre & Acting
Note: Please provide a light snack for your dancer.
Dress Attire: Bodysuit, tights. Bring all dance shoes. Hair should be worn in a bun.
Please Note: Tap shoes are helpful but not necessary
Cost: MINI-DIVAS $120.00 (includes registration fee & GST)

• 1:30 – 2:00 Stretch
• 2:00 – 2:30 Lyrical
• 2:30 – 2:45 Break
• 2:45 – 3:30 Jazz
• 3:30 – 4:15 Ballet
ADVANCED (Senior Dancers)
• 5:00 – 5:30 Stretch
• 5:30 – 6:00 Lyrical
• 6:00 – 6:45 Ballet
• 6:45 – 7:30 Jazz
Dress Attire: Bodysuit, tights, capris. Bring all dance shoes. Hair should be worn in a bun.
Cost: $150.00 (includes GST)
